Jarrell (DeHart) Jordan

Jarrell (DeHart) Jordan, 76, a native of Bayou Dularge and resident on Theriot died at 3:39 PM, September 9, 2013. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 6 PM until 9PM and Thursday Septmeber 12, 2013 from 9 AM until 11 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will begin at 11 AM, Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial afterwards at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery in Theriot, Louisiana. He is survived by 3 children, Thomas, Michael, and Preston LeBouef; godchildren, Kevin DeHart of Metairie, Heidi Punch Callahan of Houma and Ronald Gros of Gray. His surviving brothers and their spouses are: Calvin and Rosie DeHart, Eura and Yvonne DeHart, Clevis DeHart, Jr., and Rodney and Jackie Dehart all of Theriot, LA. His surviving sisters and their spouses are: Calvin (Mary Frances) Punch, Sr., Alvin (Ethel) Punch, Sr., Eldrich (Glenda) Liner, and Tammy Guidry and her companion Kenneth DeHart. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Dora Punch Jordan; his parents Clevis and Celena DeHart and three siblings, Carroll DeHart, Barbara DeHart Punch, and Loretta DeHart Aucoin. He was also proceeded in death by his brother in law Alex Punch, Sr. and sister in law Nancy Punch DeHart. He was a member of House of Praise Church.
