Todd Anthony Burgess

Todd Anthony Burgess, 43, a native and resident of Houma, died at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2008. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Louis Cemetery. He is survived by his fiancee’, Jean Marie Schoenhaus of New York; one daughter, Ashley Burgess of Houma; three brothers, Billy Burgess of Houma, Glynn Burgess of Connecticut and John Burgess of Houma; three sisters, Nancy Pellegrin of Bourg, Peggy Iacano of Houma and Wanda Burgess of Houma; one grandchild, Alaina Guidry; and his extended family, Jason, Brittni and Corinna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Ray Burgess and Simonne Marie Chauvin Burgess. He as a laborer for Energy Express and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
