Conrad Lirette

Conrad Joseph Lirette, Sr., 89, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013. He was a native and resident of Chuavin, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 6:00PM-9:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, August 30, 2013 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 12:00PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his, Wife of 25 years, Evelyn N. Lirette; sons, Conrad Lirette Jr (Lola), Thomas Lirette (Clo), Steven Lirette, Terry Naquin Jr. (Vickie), and Perry Naquin (Cheri); daughters, Winona Guidry (Darryl), and Sherry Butcher (Floyd); fifteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Winona Thibodaux Lirette; parents, Albert Lirette Sr. and Ida Boudreaux Lirette; son, Nelson Lirette (Thelma); grandson, John Lirette; brothers, Albert Lirette, Wiley Lirette, Edward Lirette, Randolph Lirette, Wilton Lirette, and Walter Lirette; sisters, Olivier Lirette Hebert, Laterina Lirette Domangue, Viola Lirette Pellegrin, and Beatrice Lirette Blanchard. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a 3rd and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5013 in Chauvin. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a friend to everyone and a giving man, full of wisdom and compassion. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
