Mabel Harrell

Mabel C. Harrell, age 97, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 26, 2013. Mrs. Harrell was a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Harahan, LA for the past 43 years. Beloved wife of the late Eldon O. Harrell. Mother of Jean A. Hicks and Robert W. Harrell. Grandmother of Todd G. Hicks, Kevin L. Hicks and Julie E. Hicks. Sister of Julius Carlos and Leo Carlos. Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Chauvin Funeral Home, 5899 Hwy 311 in Houma, LA on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma, LA.
