Timmy Gerard Pitre

Timmy Gerard Pitre, 46, a native and resident of Houma, died at 5:10 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2008. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Pitre of Houma; one stepson, Brannen Crowe of Gretna; three brothers, Kevin, Jody and Jamie Pitre of Houma; three sisters, Deborah Ratcliff, Becky Pitre and Michelle Pitre of Houma; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Pitre Sr.; and one brother, Gene Pitre Jr. He was a welder for Curtis Callais and a member of the Krewe of Mardi Gras. He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
