Woodson Carl Murry, 63, died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 4:10 AM. He was a native of Hattiesburg, MS and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. He is survived by his, Spouse: Loretta Songe Murry, Mother: Ola Dye Ezell, Father-in-Law: Harvey Songe, Sisters-in-Law: Janice Yakupzack and husband Paul, and Catherine Butler and husband Chris, Nieces and Nephews: Jennifer Theriot Ekal and children Burak and Demir, Callie Pene' Baskett and husband John and daughter Evelyn,and Jason Theriot and daughter Haley, Godchild: Louis Bollinger. He was preceded in death by his, Father: Wallace Murry, Mother-in-Law: Yvonne Songe, Grandparents: Henry and Ida Dye, and William Murry and Veda Murry, Step-Father: Kermit Ezell. Woody's passion in life was caring for abandoned and homeless animals.
