Frank Anthony Porretto, Sr., 91, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 8:00 AM until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his devoted and caring wife of 66 years, wife, Claire Olivier Porretto, Houma, LA son, Frank Porretto, Jr. and companion Sandra Plauche, daughters, Cathy Zeringue and husband Mert, Denise Cenac and husband Bobby, grandchildren, Scott and Tony Zeringue, Aaron and Andre Porretto, Michele Bergeron, Patrick, Philip and Bryan Cenac, great grandchildren, Megan and Molly Zeringue, Mia and Katie Porretto, Emma Porretto, Ali and Kate Bergeron, brother, A.J. Porretto. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Anna Colombo Porretto, father and mother in law, Doze and Issabelle Olivier. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Vandebilt Terrier Club, St. Francis de Sales School or Louis Infant Crisis Center.
