Agnes Masten Pearce Watson, 100, a native of Era, Texas, and resident of Houma, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at First Baptist Church of Houma. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas. She is survived by two sons, Perry C. Pearce and wife, Alice Pearce, of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Donald R. Pearce and wife, Patsy Pearce, of Mesa, Ariz.; two daughters, Ollie Pearl Arnold and husband, Arthur, of Houma and Crystal Cox and husband, Charles, of Angleton, Texas; three stepsons, Styles Watson and wife, Dianna, Vic Watson and wife, Debbie, and Curtis Watson; 16 grandchildren, Carol Davis and husband, Gene, Tom Wynn and wife, Donna, Donna Nixon and husband, Jeff, Terri Ollar and husband, Terry, Barbara Hurst and husband, Tim, Dana Deberry and husband, Danny, Dewayne Cox and wife, Janet, Ricky Cox and wife, Janet, Donna Jean Pearce, Billy Joe Pearce, Melaine Pearce, Sherry Pearce, Perry Pearce, Kenneth Wilcox, Carol Lawhone and Sabrina Clark; 25 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack A. Pearce; her second husband, Beryl Poole; her third husband, S.T. Watson; her parents, Perry Masten and Mittie Pearl Wheeler Masten; one son, Jimmy Pearce; one brother, Loran Masten; and one sister, Lottie Smith. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of South Louisiana or Building Fund for First Baptist Church of Houma.
