Jason Mitchell Borne Sr.

Jason Mitchell Borne Sr., 43, a native of Rayne and resident of Houma, died at 8:55 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Arsenaux Borne of Houma; his parents, John Borne Sr. and Wilda DeJean Borne of Houma; one son, Jason M. Borne Jr. of Houma; one daughter, Grace Adele Borne of Houma; three brothers, John Borne Jr. and wife, Jody, Michael Borne and wife, Diana, and Preston Borne and wife, Luci, of Houma; two sisters, Mona Smith and Danielle Pellegrin and husband, Keith, of Houma. He was a certified inspector with Smith International. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His favorite pastime was sports and music. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
