Suzel Trahan Guidry

Suzel Trahan Guidry, 90, a native and resident of Houma, died Saturday, April 19, 2008. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. She is survived by one son, Vernon Guidry of Madisonville, Texas; one daughter, Tina Guidry Richard of New Orleans; three brothers, Marshall Trahan and Gideon Trahan of Houma and Russell Trahan of Westwego; five grandchildren, Holly Richard Friedman, Todd E. Richard, Chad A. Guidry, Kasey Guidry Schultz and Kyle A. Guidry; and three great-grandchildren, Austin Guidry, Lindsey Friedman and Grace Friedman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray A. Guidry; her parents, Marshall Trahan Sr. and Adelaide Bergeron Trahan; two brothers, Curtis Trahan and Fulton Trahan; five sisters, Gladys Breaux, Adine Champagne, Hazel Crochet, Beatrice Olivier and Adelaide Champagne. She was a homemaker.
