Challenge Ethan Talbot unexpectedly passed into the arms of The Lord on July 19, 2013 at the age of 18. Challenge was a recent graduate of E.D. White High School and was to attend LSU in the fall. Challenge was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church in Houma, LA.
Challenge lived a life as unique as his name. Challenge hunted with his father, skied and golfed with his brothers, fished with his grandfather and adored his family and many friends who knew Challenge as "Batman." Challenge was a Boy Scout as a child and was always an avid outdoorsman.
Challenge was a member of the E.D. White Swim Team where he was an all- state swimmer for four years. Challenge received countless awards at state swim meets and set school records for E.D. White. Challenge was selected for and attended Boys State in behalf of E.D. White and was also a member of the National Honors Society.
Challenge was the beloved son of Mitchell Charles Talbot and Kimberly Ann Desmares Talbot; brother of Nikole Leigh Talbot Paquette, Dustin Charles Talbot, and Connor Charles Talbot; grandson of Charles and Linda Hartzog Desmares and Margie Talbot; nephew of Michael and Cindy Desmares, Gemma and Dan Svensson, Amy and Kyle Hebert, and Scott Talbot; uncle of Nicholas and David Paquette.
Challenge was preceded in death by his grandfather Charles Talbot and great grandparents Charles Burton Desmares and Myrtle Desmares, J.C. and Sitha Hartzog, Great Aunt Jeanette Hartzog Maddox and Great Uncle Truman Hartzog.

Viewing will begin at 9 am and service will begin at noon. Challenge will be placed in his final resting place at Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Thibodaux, LA.
