Beulah Helena Carlos Dollar was born June 24, 1919 in Houma, Louisiana. She went to her heavenly home on July 11, 2013 after a wonderful life at the age of 94.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John T. Dollar, Sr., her parents, John Herbert Carlos and Bernadette Bergeron Carlos, brothers Herbert "Buddy" and Charles Carlos, and sister Helen Carlos Whipple.
She is survived by her sister, Maybelle Carlos Harrell, and brothers, Leo and Julius "Turk" Carlos.
Beulah is survived by her children and their spouses, John and Carol Dollar, Marlene and Mike Hallenberger, Mary and Eddie Lusher, her grandchildren, Jeff and Michele Dollar, Kim Pepper, Allison and Mike Grieb, Adri Hallenberger, Lex and Molly Hallenberger, Jessica and Jill Lusher, and great- grandchildren, Shelby Kays, Skylar Pepper, Jonathan and Zachary Dollar, and Grady Grieb.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a wonderful homemaker and an amazing creole cook, She always welcomed everyone into her home.
Her life's journey took her from Houma to New Orleans to Mandeville to Peachtree City, Georgia and now back to Houma.
She lived a rich and full life and was an example to us all. She will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, 400 Verret Street, Houma, Louisiana from 10:00 am. to service time with Funeral Mass at 11:00am, with burial in St. Francis No. 2.
