Jeremy Michael Duet, 22, died Thursday, July 11, 2013. He was a native of Hoffman Estate, IL and resident of Gray, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 6:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. He is survived by his, Parents, Archie Patrick Duet and Susan Babin Duet, Brother, Andrew Paul Duet, Sister, Jessica Marie Duet, Uncles, Tony Babin and Paul Autin, Bert Duet and wife Mary B. Duet, Aunt, Wanda D. Harrington and husband Scott Harrington, Cousins, Elizabeth Harrington, Allen Duet, and Ginger Duet Reeves, Great Aunt Barbara F. and Uncle Robert C. Klingman. He was preceded in death by his, Grandparents, Roy and Malvin Hebert Duet and Gerald and Marilyn Fanguy Babin. Jeremy was a very loving person with a healing personality, which in turn led to his passions for massage therapy, herbal teas, and Tai Chi. He was a free spirit bringing happiness to everyone that was touched by his life. Jeremy had many hobbies such as hand crafting wooden bows and chainmail armor, practicing martial arts, and playing the keyboard. He lived harmoniously with nature and cared for many different animals. Most of Jeremy's days were spent putting smiles on the faces of his family and friends. He was formerly employed by AHA! Wellness Center, AVA Solutions Inc., and Domino's Pizza. He was a graduate of Central Lafourche High School in 2009 and Blue Cliff College in 2011 with a degree in massage therapy.
