Eloise Roessle

Eloise Sherrard Roessle, 88, died Saturday, June 15, 2013. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and longtime resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 10:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will begin at 12:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her son, Alan Roessle, Houston, TX, daughters, Melise Roessle Graham and husband, Robert G. Graham, Lancaster, VA, Ramona Jane Roessle Miller and husband Rick Miller, River Ridge, LA, grandchildren, Gregg Roessle Graham, Geoffrey Scott Graham and Emily Megan Graham McGinnis and sister, Helen Elizabeth Sherrard Landry, River Ridge, LA. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Palmer Alan Roessle, Sr., parents, Raymond Sherrard and Elizabeth Sauter Sherrard and brothers, Raymond Sherrard and Emile Sauter Sherrard. She was a lifetime member of the Houma Terrebonne Garden Club, a docent at Southdown Plantation, a member of the American Dietetic Association and The Telephone Pioneers. She was an active parishioner at St. Bernadette Catholic Church
