Gerald Paul Doiron, Sr., 79, died Friday, May 31, 2013. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 9:00 AM until service time at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Griffin Doiron, Houma, LA, son, Gerald "Jerry" Doiron, Jr., Houma, LA, daughter, Becky Blanchard and husband Joe, Houma, LA, Brenda Doiron, Houma, LA, Beth McNamara and husband Barry, Houma, LA, Bridget Lusco and husband Santo "Speedy", Raceland, LA, Amanda Falgoust and husband Ross, Chackbay, LA, grandchildren, Danielle Doiron Leger, Brandon McNamara, Brent McNamara, Lauren Lusco, Tyler Lusco, Katelyn Falgoust, Carter Falgoust, great grandchild, Braxton McNamara, brothers, Gene Doiron, Gregory Doiron, Sr., sisters, Barbara Greneaux, Faye Bourgeois, Linda Hebert, mother in law, Mildred “Temae”Tauzin Griffin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton Doiron, Sr. and Marguerite Bethancourt Doiron, brothers, Clayton "Pete" Doiron, Michael Doiron, Sr. Gerald was the owner of Doiron’s T.V. Sales and Service for fifty years. He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. He was the first to receive the Bishop Schexnayder Award while attending St. Francis de Sales School. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and playing drums and piano. In lieu of flowers the family requests masses be said in his honor.
