Nelson Paul Autin, Jr., 76, died Friday, May 24, 2013 at 5:00 AM. He was a native of Boutte, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, May 27, 2013 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, wife, Helen Ledet Autin, Houma, LA, daughter, Monique Breaux and husband David, Houma, LA. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Nelson Autin, Sr. and Rosa Guidry Autin, brothers, Joseph Autin, Stephen Autin, Lovincie Autin, sisters, Zelma Louvierre, Vivian Smith, Sadie Lirette, Florence Domangue. He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and an Usher at St. Gregory Catholic Church. He loved to cut grass and take care of his family.
