Norris Schexnayder

Norris “NuNu” Schexnayder, 90, died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 10:05 PM. He was a native of Vacherie, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 8:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his son, Jim Schexnayder and wife Holly, Houma, LA, daughters, Jan Majerus and husband Mike, Houma, LA, Jeannie Dagenhardt and husband Glynn, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Julie Dagenhardt, Alex Schexnayder, brothers, Clifton Schexnayder and wife Joyce, Edgar Schexnayder, Jr., sisters-in-law, Anita Schexnayder, Nell Duplantis and husband Ellery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie B. Schexnayder, parents, Edgar Schexnayder, Sr. and Alba Schexnayder, brothers, Harold Schexnayder and Irving Schexnayder, sister, Carole Schexnayder. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He was the Owner of Shield Pest Control. He served as Corporal in the United States Army during World War II stationed in Panama.
