Eddie Eugene Bergeron, 66, died Saturday, May 18, 2013. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 9:00am to 11:00am at First United Methodist Church on Hwy#311 in Houma, LA Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church on Hwy #311 in Houma, LA. With Burial following at Garden of Memories Cemetery. He was 66 years old and a lifelong resident of Houma. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1972 and retired from Bellsouth with 35 years. Eddie Bergeron is survived by his best friend and wife, Sharon Davis Bergeron, and loving sister, Trevelyn Bergeron Flowers. He is also survived by his loving children; son Dennis Bergeron and wife Andrea, daughter Lori Ann Bergeron, and daughter Jennifer Bergeron Laughlin and husband Brian, 9 grandchildren, Bryant Bergeron, Brittany Bergeron, Brandi Bergeron Scott, Bailey Bergeron, Kayla Bergeron, Kameron Schandorff, Mason Laughlin, Aubrey Laughlin, and Emma Laughlin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Joseph Bergeron and Edith Morris Selby Bergeron He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Houma, LA Eddie loved the Mardi Gras season and being with all his family and friends. He was an active member and Vice-President of the Krewe of Hercules. To his family and friends he was a true Mr. Mardi Gras, giving all his heart and soul to the club. The family would like to thank the doctors at CIS, Dr. Bruce Guidry and Dr. Brian Matherne at Family Doctor Clinic, and the nurses in CCU at Terrebonne General Medical Center.
