Gladys LeBoeuf Bland, 90, died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 7:09 AM. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Annunziata Catholic Church. Interment: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery She is survived by her, Husband, of 71 years Homer Allison Bland, Sr, Houma, LA, Sons, Homer A. "Butch" Bland, Jr, and wife Janis Bland of Thibodaux, LA, Larry J. Bland and wife JoAnn Bland of Gramercy, LA, Daughter, Pam Bland of Houston, TX, 9 Grandchildren, Duane, Craig, Todd, Robbie and Jason Bland; Brad Molaison, Kim Chiasson, Christina Delaneuville, and Nicole Ware, and 23 Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, Parents, Hewitt P LeBoeuf and Bessie Hymel LeBoeuf, and Sister, Josie Bergeron. She was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. Gladys was a volunteer worker at Chabert Medical Center for many years. She was an officer of the Ladies Altar Society, American Legion Post 3100, VFW Post 3700, and was past president of AARP. She was a member of Annunziata K.C. Auxiliary and a eucharistic minister. The family wishes to thank Dr. Russell Henry, the staff at AMG Specialty Hospital and Acadian Ambulance Service( Acadian, you know what we are talking about) THANKS!
