Howard Edward Green

Howard Edward Green, 83, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died at 1:36 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Private services were held at noon Thursday with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Duplantis Green; one son, Michael; three daughters, Paula, Cindy and Becky; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Green and Gertrude Waggaman Green; one son, Chester "Chet"; and one brother, Chester J. "C.J." Green. He was a retired naval shipbuilder and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
