Edward Joseph “E.J.” Braud III, 67, died Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 6:14 PM. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Gray, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Monday, May 13, 2013 from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 1:00 PM at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Entombment: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1 He is survived by his, Wife of 47 years, Maxine Thibodeaux Braud, Children, Jody Braud and wife Annette, Kathy "Buffy" Cole and husband Bryant, Frank Braud and wife Lynn, Johnny Braud and wife Lisa, and Tony Braud and wife Casey, Grandchildren, Blake Cole, Brandon Cole, Jacob Braud, Matthew Braud, Nicholas Braud, Casey Cole, Michael Braud, Courtney Cole, Andrew Braud, Riley Braud and Hunter Braud, Brothers, Richard Braud, Bert Braud, Donnie Braud and sister, Judy Callais. He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Edward Joseph Braud, Jr and Julia Bergeron Braud, Brothers, Larry Braud and Melvin Braud. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. E.J. was the owner of Braud's Heating and Air Conditioning. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
