Leslie Everett Chruma

Leslie Everett Chruma, 86, a native of Kolin and resident of Houma, died at 4:35 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2008. Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel. Religious service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel with burial in St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery. He is survived by three sons, Gary Everett Chruma and wife, Anne, of Kingwood, Texas, Robin Lyle Chruma and wife, Mona, and Douglas Lynn Chruma and wife, Kimberly, of Houma; one daughter, Sandee Vinson Chruma of Houma; five grandsons, Robin Leslie Chruma, Brenden Kyle Vinson, Jeremy Paul Chruma of Houma, Kelly Christopher Chruma of Mobile, Ala., and Ryan Naquin of Houma; three granddaughters, Lacee Dianne Chruma, April Lynn Chruma Dazee and Andee Lynn Churma Dazee of Houma; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher Chruma, Brittany Chruma, Garrett Chruma, Lee Lena Jr., Lyle Dazee, Aaron Joseph Dazee, Hailie Alissa Dazee; and one great-great-granddaughter, Camden Naquin of Houma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Elizabeth Jones Chruma; his parents, Joseph Frank Chruma and Katie Isabelle Wright; and one grandson, Jeremy Paul Chruma. He was a retired welder for Columbia Gas System. He was a Protestant.
