Vernon Bumgarner

Vernon F. Bumgarner, 59, a native of Deer River, Minn., and resident of Bourg, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bourg Baptist Mission in Bourg. He is survived by his daughter, Veronika Bumgarner; brothers, Stanford Bumgarner, Dale (Jeani) Bumgarner and Roger (Jessica) Bumgarner; sister, Susan (Jose) Santiago; and friend, Tracy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Bumgarner; and his father, Stanford Bumgarner. He was a boat captain and enjoyed spending time with his daughter. He also enjoyed computers and being on the water.
