Chris "Hoss" Michael Dupre

Chris "Hoss" Michael Dupre, 52, a native and resident of Houma, died at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 16, 2008. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Robin Schaubhut Dupre of Houma; three daughters, Jessica Dupre and fiance, Michael LeCompte, Tristan Dupre and fiance, Adam Dozier, and Dani Dupre of Houma; two brothers, Hubert "Dunnie" Dupre Jr., of Maui, Hawaii, and Terry Dupre Sr. of Houma; and four grandchildren, Dorian Ledet, Julie LeCompte, Coby Dozier and Lexie Dozier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Dupre and Audrey Duplantis Dupre; two brothers, Carl Dupre Sr. and Glenn Dupre; one sister, Claudette Dupre Cunningham; and his grandparents, Irvin and Elise Duplantis and Mr. and Mrs. John Dupre. He was a self-employed carpenter and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a wonderful friend. He enjoyed golf and fishing and will be truly missed. He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
