Debby Robichaux Verret, 64, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 4:50 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by two sons, Jody Dale Verret and wife, Missie, of Rockwall, Texas, and Eric John Verret and wife, Lee Anne, of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Michael Robichaux of Edmond, Okla., and Errol "Turk" Robichaux of Elk City, Okla.; one sister, Norma Babin and husband, Edgar, of Houma; and two grandchildren, Allyson and Rustin Verret.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Douglas Verret; her parents, Eugene Robichaux and Adele Panvelle Robichaux; two brothers, David Robichaux and Robert Robichaux; and her beloved friend, Stanley Clement.
She was a member of St. Bernadette Choir for 35 years, the Evangelization Committee at St. Bernadette, the Thibodaux Amateur Radio Club and YMCA water aerobics.
She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
