The Bonvillain Family would like to thank Journey Hospice and its wonderful staff including Trudy, Linda, Felicia, Christine, Susan and Dee. We would also like to thank The Medical Team including Christal, JoAnn, Bobby and John. The kind staff at the Council on Aging provided services which were very helpful. Barbara Miller came to her aid when she was recuperating from surgery and grew close to the family over many years. Dr. Ray Cinnater and his staff provided decades of wonderful care. Annunziata Eucharistic Ministers and Church Staff blessed us many times. We also wish to thank Chauvin Funeral Home and their staff.
Ione and her husband Herman founded the Houma Boat Works, Inc. in 1950. Her love for her family and God was unwavering. She volunteered at church when the need was there. She also loved America, the American Flag and was a fervent patriot. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
