John "Johnny" Sosthene Traigle Jr., 68, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Houma, died at 3:30 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Kraemer Traigle of Houma; his mother, Annie Laurie DuBois Traigle; one son, John M. Traigle and wife, Angela M. Traigle, of Houma; two daughters, Penny T. Collier and husband, Benjamin Collier, of Houston, and Jamie T. Tillman and husband, Dan Tillman, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Louise Percle of Thibodaux and Linda Domino of Metairie; and five grandchildren, Nicole, Andy and Jonathon Traigle, Zachary and Emily Tillman.
He was preceded in death by his father, John S. Traigle Sr.
He was a retired oilfield production operator and a U.S. Navy veteran. He loved hunting and was a member of the 12-mile Hunting Club.
He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
