Paul Hotard

Paul Howard Hotard passed away on March 17, 2013, after a brief battle with cancer. Paul was a native of Gretna, Louisiana and a resident of Houma for the last 35 years. He was born in Gretna, Louisiana on January 25, 1955, to his parents Warren O. Hotard Jr., of Gretna and Kathryn Wright Hotard, of New Orleans. Paul graduated from West Jefferson High School and received Bachelors from Nicholls State University. He was married for 33 years to Melanie Schoen Hotard. He worked for Trapp Chevrolet for 35 years. Paul was survived by daughters, Stephanie Hotard and Natalie Hotard Lapeyrouse, son-in-law, Lance Lapeyrouse, granddaughter, Jane Adele Lapeyrouse; his mother Kathryn Wright Hotard, brothers, Warren O. Hotard Jr.(Patricia), Edward W. Hotard (Vida), and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Warren O. Hotard, Jr. Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 9 to 11am with a service at 11am at Chauvin Funeral Home, 5899 Louisiana 311 Houma, LA 70360 In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Cancer Society.
