Madeline Adam Evans, 83, a native of Hyange, France, and resident of Houma, died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008.
Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by one niece, Josetta Lapeyrouse and husband, Dreus, of Chauvin; two great-nephews, Stephen Lapeyrouse and wife, Arlene, and Armond Lapeyrouse and wife, Melisa; her great-great-nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Nicole, Caleb, Michael and Marlene Lapeyrouse; her great-great-great-nephew, Landon Lapeyrouse; and her friends on the Bayou.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean Adam and Margarite Schemil Adam; one brother; eight sisters; and one great-nephew, the Rev. Gus Lapeyrouse.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
