Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 8:30 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Private Burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery. She is survived by her, sons, Dan LaPorte and fiance' Dawn Landry, Houma, LA, Joe LaPorte and wife Dee Ann, San Antonio, TX, grandchildren, Katelyn Landry, Spencer LaPorte, mother, Veronica Picone Fonseca brother, David Fonseca. She was preceded in death by her, father, Teles Fonseca, son, Blake "Tony" LaPorte. She enjoyed fishing, reading and dancing.
