Roy John Brunet, 70, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 3:30 PM. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Gray, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, March 15, 2013 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his son, John Paul Brunet and wife Amy Brunet, Bourg, LA, daughter, Darnell Marie Brunet, Houma, LA, companion, Leverne Boudwin, grandchildren, Mariah Brunet, Kasem Hebert, Annick Neathery, brothers, Earl Brunet, Richard Brunet, L.J. Brunet, Carol Brunet, sisters, Shirley Rodrigue, Meola Cunningham. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and playing poker machines.
