Daniel L Bennett, 71, died Saturday, March 2, 2013. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on from at Friday, March 8, 2013 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 12:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Inurnment: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1. He is survived by his, Daughter: June Bennett Price and husband Dicky of Houma LA, Sister: Joyce Blackman and husband Charles Hiltz of Denver CO, Grandchildren: Laney Allen, Bennett Price, and Kayla Price, Brother In Laws: Norman Authement and wife Marlene, Deacon Douglas J. Authement and wife Una, John Authement and wife Michelle, Survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his, Spouse: Barbara Authement Bennett, Parents: Isham Daniel Bennett and Eva Leonard Bennett. Daniel was an LSU graduate and alumni. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. There will be a military honor service at Chauvin Funeral Home before the Litrugy of the Word by the United Veterens League. He served in Eastern Airlines from 1968 to their closer. He was also a certified pilot Miami Air. Daniel loved his family and most especially his daughter and grandchildren. He had a special place in his heart for animals, especially dogs. He will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hope for Animals at P.O.
