Medelton Chatagnier

Medelton Pierre Chatagnier, 87, a native and resident of Houma, died at 10:32 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Price Chatagnier; daughters-in-law, Charlene Chatagnier and Linda Chatagnier; grandchildren, Jessica Chatagnier, Gail Price and husband, Ray, Dodie Doiron and husband, Glen, Jessie Chatagnier Jr., Melina Lanus and husband, Derek, Amber Chatagnier, Amanda Chatagnier, Felicia Chatagnier and Danielle Chatagnier; great-grandchildren, Lynn Marie Hargrove, Tiffany Dupre, Rochelle Price, Ray Price Jr., Shane Price, Cody Doiron, Chase Doiron, Carson Doiron, Julie Chatagnier, John Chatagnier, Kaitlyn Cavalier, Chrisshayla Chatagnier, Quintessa Chatagnier, Ja'Zirion Chatagnier and Jerdaysh Williams, Mildred Foret, Rusty Foret, and one great-great-granddaughter, Makenzee Price. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Chatagnier and Louvenia Lyons Chatagnier; sons, Jessie Sr., Myron and Danny Chatagnier; brothers, Eldrin Sr., Wilbert and Edward Chatagnier Sr.; and sisters, Thelma Collins and Leona Bourg. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
