Roy Paul Domangue Sr.86, a native and resident of Houma, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2008.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Maria Immacolata Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his beloved wife and sweetheart of 56 years, Catherine Pierpont Domangue of Houma; three sons, Roy Paul Domangue Jr. and wife, Darlene LeDoux, of Gonzales, Ronald "Ron" Domangue and wife, Deanna McEahern, of Houma and Albert "Al" Joseph Domangue and wife, Lisa Lirette, of Bourg; one daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Domangue Kulas and husband, Mike, of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren, Joshua Domangue and wife, Jessica Pellegrin, Christina "Christi" Domangue Cameron and husband, Jeremy, Avril Angelle Domangue, Daniel Domangue, Thomas Domangue, Chase Bishop and Meghan Rae Domangue; four great-grandchildren, Dylan Domangue, Justin Domangue, Bryton Cameron and Kaylie Domangue; and two step-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theard Joseph Domangue and Anna LeCompte Domangue; five brothers, Luby, Gervais, Dennis, Lindsey and Aubrey Domangue; and two sisters, Mrs. Meldolph "Annie" Brien and Mrs. Oris "Ludia" Carlos.
He was retired from Halliburton after 31 years of service. He loved fishing, dancing and traveling, but mostly being with his beloved family. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 10612.
