Nolan Joseph Thibodeaux, 73, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Pearl Mount Thibodeaux of Houma; one daughter, Becky Hebert and husband, Mark O. Hebert, of Houma; one sister, Yvonne Thibodeaux Martinez of St. Charles Community; two grandchildren, Michael Thibodeaux and wife, Renee Martin Thibodeaux, of Covington and Sarah E. Lachney of Alexandria; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan Thibodeaux and Kaleb Thibodeaux of Covington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Joseph Thibodeaux and Edna Fanguy Thibodeaux; and two brothers, Enos J. Thibodeaux and Roland J. Thibodeaux.
He was retired vice president for Fireside Life Insurance and was a member of the Elks Lodge and Bayou State Elks Camping Club.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
