Earnest L. Spangler

Earnest L. Spangler, 55, a native of Winnfield and resident of Summit, Miss., died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Sue Giroir Spangler of Summit; two sons, Brandon Spangler and wife, Danna, and Michael Neugent and wife, Kathy; one brother, Jim Spangler and wife, Donna; one sister, Margie Leslie and husband, Jerry; and six grandchildren, Brayden Spangler, Ashley Neugent, Brandon Neugent, Troy Neugent, Brittany Sobert and Meagan Sobert. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Spangler and Katie Spangler; one brother, Herbert B. Spangler; and one sister, Barbara Moore. He was a production superintendent for Blade Energy.
