Ronnie Glenn Morris, 50, a native of Ponce de Leon, Fla., and resident of Houma, died at 5:54 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Hebert Morris of Houma; four sons, Josh Joseph Morris, Samuel Glenn Morris, Caleb Michael Morris and Jonathan David Morris of Houma; two daughters, Chantelle Angelique Mataya and Rebekah Marie Morris of Houma; four brothers, Johnny Morris of Lebanon, Tenn., Donald Morris of Ponce de Leon, Allen Morris of Jacksonville, Fla., and Jackie Morris of Chipley, Fla.; one sister, Wyndell "Polly" Cooper of Westville, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Morris and Edith William Morris.
He was a retired oilfield supervisor for Chet Morris and Trivantage Co.
He was a member of Victor Christian Center.
