grandchildren, Adam, Mickey and Clayton Brunet, Tidy Fenton, Timothy White and Danny White, Melissa Matherne, Lacey Pertuit, Harvey Pertuit, Jr., Seth Pertuit, Candice Veazey, Scott Cantrelle,
twenty great grandchildren,
brothers, Andrew Cantrelle, Morris Cantrelle, Joseph Cantrelle, and
sister, Annabelle Wiley.
He was preceded in death by his,
parents, Cashmere Cantrelle and Estelle Richoux Cantrelle,
daughter, Sally White,
brothers, Junius Cantrelle, Allen Cantrelle, Whitney Cantrelle and
sister, Julia Johnson.
He was a construction foreman for Patterson and Edmondson for thirty three years and worked for the School for Exceptional Children for ten years.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He was the Coordinator and Director at the Adventist Community Service Center for twenty years. He was an Elder at the Houma Seventh Day Adventist Church and member for thirty six years. He was an extremely humble man and shared his love for Jesus Christ with everyone he came in contact with. In his time of service with the church he was instrumental for bringing many people into an understanding of the Lord. He worked as a volunteer for FEMA and ADRA during local disasters. He also volunteered for Terrebonne United Food Bank.
