Melvina Verdin Lodrigue, 79, died Monday, January 28, 2013 at 6:17 PM. She was a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and resident of Dulac, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 8:30am to Service time at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 11:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial: Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her, Spouse: Husband of 64 years, Wilsey Lodrigue, Sons: Jimmy Lodrigue and wife Mona, Eugene Lodrigue and wife Lydia, Adam Lodrigue and Angela, Duane Lodrigue and wife Becky, and Kerry Lodrigue and wife Dodie, Daughters: Beverly Guidry and husband Clarence, Debbie Verdin and husband Ernest, and Judith Dion and husband Mathil, Brothers: Lawence Verdin, John Verdin and Howard Verdin, Sisters: Eva Cotton, Lillian Verret, Leah Couteau, Josephine Scott, Lona Verdin and Mona Liner, also survived by many numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her, Parents: Joseph Evans Verdin and Marie Francis Verdin, Son: Wilsey Lodrigue Jr., Daughter: Julie Lodrigue, Brother: Pierre Verdin, Evans Verdin, Anthony Verdin, Cleveland Verdin, Wesley Verdin and John E. Verdin, Sisters: Lorena Pennino, Flowence Trosclair, and Louise Locabon. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
