Alden Joseph Chauvin Jr., 87, died Thursday, January 24, 2013. He was a native of Franklin, LA and resident of Bayou Blue, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, January 28, 2013 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Louis Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, Spouse: Doris Chauvin Son: Glenn Chauvin and wife Marlene, Daughters: Cynthia C. Bonvillain and husband Larry, and Christine C. Clause, Grandchildren: Alden Bonvillain, Jason Fontenot, Todd Bonvillain, Jennifer Chauvin Bourg, Kyle Clause, Brian Clause, and Megan Chauvin, Great Grandchildren: Jacob Langford, Gracie Bourg, and Emma Bourg. He was preceded in death by his, 1st Spouse: Vera B. Chauvin, Parents: Alden Joseph Chauvin Sr and Mabel Tabor Chauvin King, Sisters: Thelma Lucido, and Ruth Sconza, Granddaughter: Keli Langford Great Grandson: Justin Fontenot. He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.
