Ruben Trosclair Jr.

Ruben Trosclair Jr., 62, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died after a three-year battle with COPD, at 8:05 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Breaux Trosclair of Houma; one son, Todd Trosclair and wife, Martha, of Tomball, Texas; two daughters, Cindy Simon and husband, Brett, of Bourg and Blair Trosclair and companion, Brennan Duthu, of Houma; two brothers, Floyd Trosclair of Bourg and Effie Trosclair of Montegut; three sisters, Eldred Matherne of Marrero, Era Mae Halbert of Houma and Maudry Bourg of Montegut; and five grandchildren, Bryce, Jade, Brady, Todd Jr. and Brianna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben Trosclair Sr. and Cecile Ledet Trosclair; and two brothers, Reynold Trosclair and Roy Trosclair. He was a retired welder and a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.
