Edith Marie Naquin Blanchard, 89, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 10:49 PM. She was a native of Montegut, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, January 18, 2013 from 9:00 AM until service time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial: Terrebonne Memorial Park. She is survived by her, sons, Glenn Blanchard, Houma, LA and Darrell Blanchard and wife, Joyce, Houston, TX, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, She was preceded in death by her, husband of sixty three years, Thaddeus Joseph Blanchard, parents, Claude J. Naquin and Frances Matherne Naquin, brothers, Averal, Norman, Percy and Davis Naquin. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a member of the American Legion Unit 0031.
