Mable Neal Naquin

Mable Neal Naquin, 93, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes and resident of Montegut, died at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Charles Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Royce Naquin and wife, Gloria, of Houma, and Russell Naquin and wife, Beverly, of Pointe-aux-Chenes; one brother, Jerry W. Neal of Pointe-aux-Chenes; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Butler Naquin; her parents, Joseph Charles Neal and Vagnolia Bergeron Neal; seven brothers, Howard, Ira, Malvin, John, Edward, Calvin and Dewey Neal; and two sisters, Magnolia Neal and Theresa Neal. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Charles Catholic Church.
