Barbara Anne Brunet

Barbara Anne Brunet, 65, a native and resident of Houma, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2008. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by one brother, Horace Brunet and wife, Mercedes Authement Brunet, of Montegut; and three godchildren, Lisa Bergeron of Mississippi, Rebecca Billiot of Pointe-aux-Chenes and Loretta LeBouef of Chauvin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Palinaire Brunet and Odelia Naquin Brunet; and two brothers, Norman Brunet and Raymond Brunet. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
