Mary Mae LeCompte, 91, died Saturday, January 5, 2013. She was a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 9:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1 She is survived by her sister, Hazel LeCompte Guidry, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luby LeCompte and Leah Pontiff LeCompte, brothers, Junius Paul LeCompte, Emile LeCompte, sisters, Della Marie Gros, Wilma Pellegrin. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She was a long time employee at Dupont's.
