Lionel “Pappy” Edward Ruckstuhl, 77, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. AND Monday, January 7, 2013 from 8:30 AM until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral .
Burial will be at a later date.
He is survived by his

He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He retired from the oilfield industry. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed working in his yard, cooking, working on cars, watching NASCAR and was an avid hunter. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
