Alva Elizabeth Womack Reed, 90, died Sunday, December 23, 2012. She was a native of Cotton Plant, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Burial: Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by her, Daughters, Donna Oglesbee and husband Wayne of Springdale, AR and Terri Adams and husband Greg of Houma, LA, Grandchildren, Renee Jones and husband Brian, Kim Calloway, Michael Oglesbee and wife Mistie, Elizabeth Zeringue and husband Dale, Sydney Doxey and husband Chad 9 Great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her, Husband, Edgar M. Reed, Parents, Sidney James Womack and Nila Estess Womack, Sisters, Evelyn Bledsoe and Thelma Oetgen. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma. She was a member of the Newcomers Bridge Club. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her family and friends very much.
