Sandra Bergeron Fanguy, 59, a native and resident of Houma, died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her mother, Rita Eschete Bergeron of Houma; one son, James Fanguy and wife, Angel, of Houma; one daughter, Sherry Robichaux and husband, Oscar, of Houma; one brother, Barrie Bergeron of Houma; one sister, Bonnie McFann of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Abbie Fanguy, Katrina Robichaux and Katherine Robichaux.
She was preceded in death by her father, Abbie T. Bergeron Jr.; and one infant brother, Dana Bergeron.
She was a retired cook at Cannata’s Supermarket and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
