Lucille Marie Portier Dupre, 84, a native and resident of Chauvin, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Domangue and husband, Aubrey, Lynette LeBlanc and husband, Hubert, of Chauvin and Nell Rodrigue and husband, Michael, of Houma; eight grandchildren, Carroll Domangue, Burt Domangue, Thomas Domangue, Monica Breaux, Melissa Lyons, Michelle Pinell, Jessica Frisella and Jodi Lirette; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynus Dupre; her parents, Clovis Portier Sr. and Mila White Portier; one sister, Louise P. Neal; seven brothers, Wilton, Trasimond, Maurice, Clovis Jr., Wilson Sr., Willard and Nolan Portier Sr.; and one grandchild, Jimmy Domangue.
She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Altar Society and Ward 7.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
