Hazel Daigle Rathburn

Hazel Daigle Rathburn, 92, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, died 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral Monday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with interment in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. She is survived by one son, S.P. LaRussa of Houma; one daughter, Bonnie Jane LaRussa Duplantis of Houston; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul LaRussa; her second husband, Harold Rathburn; her parents, Albert Daigle and Lelia Montina Daigle; four brothers, Ernest Daigle, Louis Daigle, Herbert Daigle and Randolph Daigle; and six sisters, Annie Daigle Petrie, Agnes Daigle Doiron, Maggie Daigle Simmoneaux, Jessie Daigle Dansereax, Stella Daigle Montz and Daisey Daigle Hotard. She was a retired receptionist for Dr. Issac Savoie and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
